Since 1994, Inga’s has been providing the women of the Washington area, and others who visit our city, an extensive range of upscale American and European clothing and accessories that have been consigned for resale by many well-known women living in Washington and New York City. In addition, we receive consignments from other ladies around the country and some of the upscale specialty stores in New York, Los Angeles, and Palm Beach. Customers have commented that Inga’s has more upscale brands than many of DC’s high-end department stores. These gently worn and new clothes and accessories are available at a fraction of the original retail prices. Brands in stock include Akris, Armani, Chanel, Cucinelli, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Loro Piana, Max Mara, Manolo Blanik, and Prada.
CUSTOMERS
For most customers the exciting aspect of visiting Inga’s is the “treasure hunt” involved in selecting from the clothing racks and displays of accessories. The pleasure comes from finding a jewel of an outfit or an accessory that is exciting but also knowing that the price is a great bargain.
For the safety of customers and staff, everyone is expected to wear a mask (provided if you do not have one) and observe social distancing. We guarantee you will feel safe shopping at Inga’s.
ConsignOrs
Inga’s special attraction is the quality of the consigned clothing and accessories. Consequently, we accept contemporary high-end items that are recent (no more than 5 years old), stylish, in excellent condition, and originally from upscale department stores or boutiques with designer/couture labels. Meet Inga
Inga does more than resell upscale clothes and accessories. She has been a fashion model, a fashion columnist of a weekly newspaper, a fashion contributor for a local TV News channel, and has presented several fashion shows for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival lunches. She and her staff know they can help you find exactly what you need - for work, for that special occasion, or for a vacation.
